About me

I am an interpreter, a communication strategist, and a proud and happy mother.

I have been working as a Conference Interpreter and Translator since 2005, starting in public administration institutions followed by a 7-year-old challenge in the private sector. As of 2018, I work as a freelance based in Bologna, Italy. I became a Member of Tradinfo, Association of Translators and Interpreters in the beginning of 2019.

I have graduated from the Department for Translation and Interpreting at the University Ss. ‘’Cyril and Methodius’’ in Skopje, Republic of North Macedonia with a BA in English-Macedonian interpretation (both to and from) and interpretation from French into Macedonian, becoming one of the first generation of graduated Interpreters in my home country.

In 2008, I obtained a Postgraduate Certificate in Contemporary European Studies at the European Research Institute Jean Monnet, University of Birmingham, UK.

In the period between 2009 and 2011, I attended the European College of Parma DAES programme and completed an MA in Advanced European Studies at the University of Parma, Italy.

Being part of the team in the Sector for preparation of the national version of the acquis communataire (EU legislation) within the Secretariat for European Affairs, I have experienced different interpreting tasks during high-level officials events, press conferences, bilateral meetings. Moreover, this rewarding working period has been rich in creating and revising many glossaries, terminology and translation guides and manuals as well as translation of many strategic documents, annual programs, important national strategies. A perfect example was preparing the Questionnaire, result of one the most important coordination project between state institutions, and a keystone on our country's path toward European integration.

Besides my studies, my professional life has brought me to different parts of the world - via internships, summer work programs, private trips and volunteer work. These experiences gave me freedom and granted me the confidence to develop my language skills in different professional environments. I enriched my linguistic and cultural background and gained in-depth knowledge in extremely diverse sectors, from plastics to home affairs.

I am currently based in Bologna, where I enjoy motherhood and Italian lifestyle.

I work as a simultaneous, consecutive, whispering and liaison interpreter and I am available for trips and assignments on remote (KUDO Certified Interpreter, Accredited ABLIO Conference Interpreter).

I specialise in providing language services for business trips, study visits and missions as well as interpreting at conferences, meetings, seminars and workshops, both in Italy and abroad. My main working languages are Macedonian, Italian and English. I also speak and translate from Serbian, Croatian, French and Bulgarian.
